MakeUp in Seoul on track, MakeUp in Paris stronger, MakeUp in NewYork bigger !
Seoul, Paris, New-York,… The three major appointments in the global make-up industry have already reach a good record for next year! In Asia next March, in Europe in June and North America in September, the pulse of the professional make-up industry in 2014 will more than ever take its pace from the three major appointments in its sector, MakeUp in Seoul, MakeUp in Paris and MakeUp in NewYork.
The first edition of Seoul poised to do better than the first Paris and New-York editions!
Last but not least in the family, MakeUp in Seoul, the new event, is clearly exceeding all the expectations of savvy professionals. Figures in terms of number of exhibitors and show floor will exceed those recorded for the first Paris edition (2010) and New-York edition (2011), emphasised Jean-Yves Bourgeois, from Beauteam. There is a sheer enthusiasm coming from both the first exhibitors whether European or Korean but also from managers in leading local and international brands. As Korean, we are very proud that the Beauteam team chose our country to host the Asian event, some even expressed. As an international brand, highlighted other officials, Korea is definitely the best choice among all the other countries in the region. Korea is the country of make-up in Asia where innovation has become a second nature and where the dynamism of its industry is matched only by the enthusiasm of both male and female Korean consumers for make-up and personal care.
MakeUp in Seoul will bring together as of its very first edition on 13 and 14 March next year thirty Korean and foreign exhibitors. The completed and final list will be completed very soon but we can already mention the one who have yet submitted their candidacies such as CTK, FS Korea, Hwa Sung, Samhwa Plastic, Intercos, United Brands Marketing Gmbh, Weckerle, B.Kolormakeup, Geka, Fiabila, Oekabeauty, Gotha Cosmetics, Art Cosmetics, Sleever International, ABC Texture, Alkos Group, Ancorotti Group, DaeHyun Ltd, Schwan Cosmetics, Pump Tech, Tae Jin, Unipack Korea and other yet to come.
Paris: 20% of additional show floor!
With 20% of additional surface, the June 2014 edition in Paris is to date almost sold out. Nearly a hundred exhibitors are expected at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, that is, a dozen more than the previous year. We’re nearly sold out, explained Sandra Maguarian, from Beauteam. Registrations from newcomers were carefully studied by taking into consideration the relevance and quality of their product offering. As we have always said, the concept of the event and its credibility stand in the quality of the offer but also its uniqueness.
New York: even more attractive!
As for MakeUp in NewYork, the appeal of this event continues to gain momentum. It is becoming each year in September, ever more THE appointment of the North American make-up industry. Once again, the number of participants is expected to increase by 20%. A deliberately controlled increase, pointed out Sandra Maguarian from Beauteam, to preserve the event’s convivial and intimate character that made it successful. MakeUp in NewYork is fully in the dynamics of the North American make-up sector. Many newcomers from Europe and Asia have pre-registered to the show, thus enhancing the international character of the event. But the bulk of exhibitors, which is steadily increasing each year, is indeed represented by North American firms.
Seoul, Paris, New-York… the MakeUp In… concept is undoubtedly a reflection of a more and more globalised industry where interconnections are permanent and enrich the creativity and development of make-up. Three events designed to penetrate at the heart of each major region of the globe.
