After nails, the eyes are the 2nd focus of make-up brands and make-up artist creativity to create totally new looks in particular by changing the eyebrows, which now follow their own trends: natural, thick, thin, disproportionate, colourful, glittery, black, the possibilities are endless.

The signature feature of a face, of a style, the eyebrow can even be used as a jewellery item, boldly decorated with sequins, embroidery or piercings. So it will come as no surprise to learn that the make-up ranges dedicated to eyes, and more specifically to eyebrows, are today expanding with innovative products and unique accessories for drawing, filling, shaping, correcting, illuminating, beautifying and colouring eyebrows, eyelids and eyelashes.

Nonetheless, while eyebrow products sell extremely well in France, with French customers spending almost €2 million on eyebrow products this year (source: NPD Group), the number one product remains the pencil.

In terms of care, areas dedicated to eyebrow beauty and to the eyes in general have sprung up in France in recent years, with for example L’Atelier du Sourcil created in 2006, the Benefit Brow Bar launched in 2007 and Le Boudoir du Regard, which offer services like restructuring, micropigmentation, extensions and semi-permanent make-up enhancement for eyebrows.

Coming soon, eyebrow jewellery: the signature feature of a face, of a style, the eyebrow can even be used as a jewellery item, boldly decorated with for example sequins, embroidery or piercings.
