MakeUp in Paris (18 & 19 june 2015), already a full house four months before its opening!
Four months before its opening date, the sixth edition of MakeUp in Paris is sold out! “The quota that we had set ourselves, Jean-Yves Bourgeois and myself, was reached in record times,” explains Sandra Maguarian, Show Manager. During two days, visitors will be given access to the very best in terms of suppliers dedicated to the make-up industry, from ingredients to formulations specialists, full-service companies, packaging and accessories manufacturers.” And, like every year, there will be some surprises, says the organizing team, whether in terms of animations, conferences and as always, breathtaking achievements from make-up schools.

And apparently the winning formula is the right one! Because we have clear evidence today that the formula is indeed at the centre of the attention of the sector. From the formula depends the type of packaging and applicator… From the formula depends the choice of ingredients. Even the biggest brands are more and more opting for full service, highlights Jean-Yves Bourgeois. Its only logical, when you consider you must be in a time to market spirit to launch in no time and under the best conditions of efficiency and quality, a complete product offering a complete service! Formulas are becoming increasingly complex, not to say fragile. The product can only be conceived in its entirety!
To be able to meet in the same place, in a human scale environment, in a friendly atmosphere and around the formula, all the components of this sector, from the ingredients to the accessories…, who can beat the four events of MakeUp in Paris, NewYork, Seoul and SaoPaulo?!
The ingredients…. The starting point!
Launched two years ago, the workshop dedicated to Ingredients has proven its efficiency. This year, underlines Sandra Maguarian, this workshop will intentionally only host seven companies: The ones who are showing a proactive strategy serving the make-up sector…, the ones who have understood that it was in their interest to not only reach their direct customers, namely formulation specialists, but also decision makers like brand’s Marketing and R&D Departments. And it works! It even works wonders! In June next, MakeUp in Paris will host the following companies: Basf, Codif, Merck, Oleos, Sensient, Sollice et Univar.
