MakeUp in Paris is just around the corner!

THE MAKEUPARADE: A LIVE DEMONSTRATION OF THE TALENT OF FOUR MAKE-UP SCHOOLS.Thursday, June 12th at 4:30pm, you will not want to miss this “chromo-cosmetic” and dynamic afternoon, devised by the Comité Français de la Couleur around cross and complementary topics:

“The new language of colour in the beauty world” “The power of colours in seduction” “Colours of light and shadow” a focus around shades of grey and light effects in make-up, from eye shadows to blushes and the most innovative nail polishes…

These meetings will offer the audience a new concept of interactive discussions, like a TV show. Experts and researchers, marketing and communication managers, make-up artists, fashion designers, artists… will take the floor for short illustrated conferences, round tables, punctuated with happenings: a live studio make-up, a mini fashion show… and many more surprises!
A production designed and organised by Olivier Guillemin, Designer, Creative Director & President of the CFC; Dominique Cuvillier, Writer, Journalist and Secretary General of the CFC.
With the participation of: Annie Mollard-Desfour, Linguist, Lexicographer at the CNRS and the author of the Dictionnaire de la couleur and Jean-Gabriel Causse, Color Designer, who will give the audience a preview of their new books on colour.

The Studio Berçot, a famous Parisian fashion school will stage an exclusive “chromo-cosmetic” fashion parade. Isabelle Pain, a make-up artist and colour creator will shed light on greys, shade… and light.

The MakeUParade: For two days non-stop, a live demonstration of the talent of 4 make-up schools on the theme of “gourmandise”.

Since its inception, MakeUp in Paris welcomes, as part of its MakeUParade, make-up schools for live demonstrations.
This year, students from four schools will give free rein to their creativity in three hour-long animations that will follow one another, during the two days of the show. Complete freedom around the featured theme “gourmandise”!

Thursday 12 June, 10am – 01:00pm: Students from the MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY will open the MakeUParade: in 2002, DANY SANZ founded the MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY. Located in the Paris of Artists, in the heart of the Saint-Martin canal quarter, the Academy has been training for more than 10 years students from all walks of life, to the different trades in make-up.

Thursday 12 June,02:00pm – 5:00pm: Now it is the turn of students from the Institut Technique du Maquillage. The Institut Technique du Maquillage was created in 1985 by Aïda Carange, a renowned make-up artist in the film industry. The Institut Technique du Maquillage now offers a two-three year curriculum that prepares students to become professional make-up artist for sectors such as the cinema, theatre, television, fashion, advertising…

Friday 13 June, 10:00 – 01:00pm: MakeUp in Paris will welcome the Flavia Palmeira school. An internationally renowned make-up artist and professor of artistic make-up, Flavia Palmeira offers in Paris and Aix en Provence a comprehensive training in artistic make-up.

Friday 13 June, 02:00pm-04:00pm: The SLA Academy takes stage. The SLA Academy, founded in 2005, is committed to “train tomorrow’s make-up artists.” Today it welcomes more than 80 students. As quality is their main priority of their way of teaching.
