« Perfection and transformation » vs « authenticity and self-expression » : 10 years of beauty trends

Makeupinparis 074 (1)

What better opportunity to focus of beauty trends and the evolution of the beauty market usage habits and expectations over the past 10 years than the 10th edition of MakeUp in Paris, which will take place on June 20 & 21 at the Carrousel du Louvre!

What profound societal, cultural and lifestyle changes keep reshaping the beauty industry? Which market disruptions will continue to influence how we consume beauty products?

Today’s beauty consumption is split between two attitudes: ‘perfection and transformation’ versus ‘authenticity and self-expression’. As contradictory as they appear, they are based on the same cultural and societal changes that took place in the 2010s, and will still diffuse their influence in the coming years through four colour cosmetics trends: total inclusivity, overall ethical, high-impact simplicity and texture artistry.

Si vous avez aussi hâte que nous d’en savoir plus, nous vous donnons rendez-vous le jeudi 20 Juin à 10h30 sur le salon !
