The MakeUp in Paris boxing ring: May the best competitor win!

After a successful first try at MakeUp in SaoPaulo in December 2014, the makeup animations of MakeUp in Paris are taking a new and decidedly sporty turn! Under the leadership and arbitration of Mily, the Brazilian Make-up Artist, the students of the Atelier Maquillage and of the SLA Academy will enter the ring for a two-day non-stop fierce competition.

The contest this year is themed “Folles Nuits Parisiennes” and will oppose in the ring, successively, in three daily fights, four duos of Makeup Artists/models.

After each fight, a panel of selected on-site exhibitors will reward the winning duo with a diploma and a whole lot of make-up products. The day will end with a “colour fight” with boxing gloves, involving all participants. May the best duo win!

The Atelier Maquillage will be the first to enter the competition on Thursday, June 18, followed the next day by the SLA Academy.

Both schools will compete on the themes of, the Roaring Twenties: 1920 – 1930; the Demimonde Years: 1870 – 1900 and finally on the period ranging from the Flower Power Years to the Palace Years: 1970 – 1980.

A big thanks to the many exhibitors, always willing to participate in this animation by kindly offering their make-up products: ABC Texture, Aircos, B.Kolormakeup & skincare, Bomo Trendline, Cosmogen, Crystal Group, Crystalmoda, Da vinci, Eisen, Faber-Castell Cosmetics, Geka, Gotha Cosmetics, Raphaël / Max Sauer, Pharma Cos, Red of view, O-Pac.
