MakeUp in NewYork is celebrating its fifth birthday this year !
5 years of continuous growth that have made it the premier color cosmetics trade show in North America! At this year’s MakeUp in NewYork, we will once again have the pleasure of teaming up with our friends, the Students of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing Program of the Fashion Institute of Technology. Virginia Bonofiglio and her students have been working with us since the second year of MakeUp in NewYork.
This year will also be the first time we embark on two very special journeys:
* A new relationship with the CEW and its members
* A nationwide packaging contest featuring 18 teams from six different colleges and universities across the USA.
The Students of The Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing program will present a fascinating history of American make-up from the 20s to the 80s, with a video presentation along with several period inspired makeup looks on models. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, in the conference room, from 10:15 am to 10:45 am.
We will offer a private visit of the show with complimentary breakfast for CEW members only on Thursday, September 10th providing the unique opportunity for CEW members and the exhibitors of MakeUp in NewYork to meet in a quiet and exclusive environment.
CEW is a non-profit, professional organization with more than 8,000 global members worldwide from 2,250 companies in the beauty industry. CEW members get access to exclusive benefits including tickets to the hottest industry events in NY and LA; insights into industry trends; and access to networking and career development tools.
