Michele Burke is a two-time Academy Award winning makeup artist for the films, “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” and “Quest For Fire” as well as being nominated for “The Cell”, “Austin Powers, The Spy Who Shagged Me”, “Cyrano De Bergerac” and “Clan Of The Cave Bear”. Michele is a two-time winner of the British Academy Award for “Cyrano De Bergerac” and “Quest For Fire” and was nominated for, “Interview With The Vampire”.


Michele Burke has never set limits on what she can do. She’s is accomplished in all areas of makeup and application to include her signature characters, prosthetic, fantasy and period work as well as beauty and fashion spreads in print media.

Michele says, “Being a true and complete makeup artist means being able to do everything.”

Packaging and Design

Michele has worked as a Max Factor Movie Makeup Artists where she was involved with product development, promotions to the beauty editors to whom she provided technique advice and television commercial appearances. Recently, Michele conducted advanced makeup Seminars on behalf of MAC Cosmetics, The New York Society of Chemists and Formulator at F.I.T. and MakeUp in Paris and MakeUp in NewYork. In addition Michele’s lip and eye applicators designed in cooperation with Geka World are used by many of today’s top brands.
