Mexican-born Ere Perez was always curious about nature and healing. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and certification in naturopathy, Bach flowers and acupuncture, and then emigrated to Australia in 1999, bringing with her rich memories of her grandparents’ flair for home remedies and beauty recipes and a passion for the earth and all that live on it. She created her eponymous brand in 2002 in Bondi, building a quintessential Australian skincare and color makeup brand where everything is fresh, effortless and multi-use with a less is more approach. Under Ere’s guidance, the products come from naturally derived nutritive superfood ingredients that are good enough to eat. Cruelty-free from Day One, Ere has shepherded her brand through two accreditations and seven years as proudly carbon neutral. She continues to push the brand forward with innovations in packaging and formulations that have attracted the world’s premiere retailers in more than 40 countries. She and her business partner, her husband Juan Perez, also own a traditional Mexican restaurant in their hometown of Bondi Beach and share three children, including two teenage girls that also love beauty and follow their mom’s routine of clean makeup and skincare for sensitive skin. With people & planet in mind, Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics has won many recognition awards for sustainability and performance in USA and Mexico.
