After its incredible success at our US shows…. We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Beauty Tank this year at MakeUp in Paris for the first time!

As part of our commitment to nurturing all beauty brands, from initial concepts to early launch, MakeUp in Paris proudly presents ‘The Beauty Tank’ competition. This platform is dedicated to supporting emerging beauty brands, including those launched within the last 12 months. We recognize the significance of indie brands in today’s beauty landscape and aim to provide them with opportunities to thrive and potentially evolve into the next superbrand!

Stay tuned to see the 10 finalists (5 makeup and 5 skincare) present their brand concepts at MakeUp in Paris 2025 in the Beauty Agora!

Applications will be launched in the spring leading up to the show!

Participation Criteria

Entrepreneurs with ideas for skincare or makeup products.
Skincare and makeup brands at any stage from concept to pre-launch or brands launched within the last 12 months.

How Does the Competition Work?

We begin the selection process with a detailed questionnaire to evaluate your concept. The top 10 finalists will pitch their projects/brands to the esteemed Beauty Tank Selection Committee and an exclusive audience.

Each finalist will have 3 minutes to present their brand and engage in a Q&A session. We’re seeking fresh ideas, conscious ingredients, and creativity. The judges will declare the winners based on brand story, target consumers, product roadmap, ingredients, certifications, strategy, packaging, and sustainability.

(Applications will not be considered if your brand has already been on the market for over 12 months, or if you submit projects from the following categories: haircare, supplements, hygiene, feminine wellness, oral health, or fragrance)
